Description: Babraham Children's Club aims to provide affordable, high-quality provision for after-school activities for children aged 4-11. One of the main aims of the Club is for children to have fun in an environment that is completely unlike that of school. The Club can have a maximum of 42 children per session. The club runs from
3.00-6pm (Mon-Thurs), 3.00-5.30pm (Fri), plus planning of activities etc.
We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated individual to manage the after school club (Maternity cover). The post is anticipated to be available from November 2010 until June 2011 but there may be the possibility for extension.
The successful candidate will:
* plan and oversee a range of suitable activities for the children
* Manage the staff.
* cake responsibility, along with other staff, for the Health and Safety.
* carry out administrative duties that include responsibility for the Club's registration and departure procedures.
* purchase food cooked for the children during Club hours
* communicate and liaise with parents and the management committee (comprised of parents and the head teacher).
